Dr Beth McInally has a PhD in Social Psychology from The University of Queensland, and works for the Queensland Department of Education. As Manager of the Student Wellbeing team, Beth develops policy and leads the provision of advice and support to schools about creating safe, supportive and inclusive school environments that nurture students’ mental health and wellbeing. Outside of work, Beth is a disability advocate with a passion for contributing to normalising and appropriately valuing people with a disability through positive representation in the media and public life. Through her public speaking, Beth raises awareness of the barriers people with disability face in society and workplaces, and aims to work collaboratively to make access and participation equitable for all people.
