ACEL TAS: Hot Topic - Professional Conduct - a network event that will surprise you
Educational leaders in schools play a pivotal role in supporting the professionalism of their teachers at each stage in their career. Influencing teacher understanding of professional relationships and boundaries has become a core expectation and activity of every school leader.
Being both an advocate for and judge of professional standards is an expectation of all school leaders. With changes in generational perspectives on standards, this can be very challenging territory to navigate. In growing the teaching profession, leaders need effective ways to engage their staff with the foundation stones of professional conduct.
Join us and members of the TRB Professional Conduct Team to explore, through the use of contemporary case studies and collegial discussion, the issues that surface in judging professional conduct. Through this workshop you will build both your knowledge of and skills in applying the key components of teacher professional conduct.
