Keynote: The Developing Brain
How your brain grows and learns is obviously central to success and well-being. There are ways we can help our children to develop by simply having an understanding of the brain.

First 1000 Days. - The majority of the major discoveries about the growth and development of the human brain which led the 1990's to be labelled the 'Decade of the Brain', were about the brain from conception to 3 years of age.

Three - Seven years With the huge emphasis placed on development of literacy and numeracy in education, many people assume that the 3 and 4 year old is basically a little 7 year old. It's not. This is a unique stage of development in which the child has unique needs specific to this age group.
