Keynote: Transition to school: Professional collaborations
The pedagogies, practices and philosophies of early childhood and school education intersect in the transition to school space. Professional collaboration can provide a context for the exploration of this intersection, generating approaches that support positive transitions to school. This presentation explores some of the possibilities and challenges within this context, as educators draw on their different experiences, expectations and perspectives. Emphasis is placed on the importance of developing effective communication strategies, involving multiple stakeholders, and building shared understandings across sectors and contexts?
