The Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) leads the way in providing a significant national and international platform to foster relationships with educational professionals, exchange ideas, and build a world class network across all sectors. Our flagship national annual conference is one avenue that provides this stimulating opportunity.

This year with the SA Department for Education as our conference partner, and Adelaide as our host city, we will take the celebration and learning from last year’s 50^th anniversary conference and take us further as we engage in Reimagining Education: A future beyond boundaries. This collective intelligence experience will allow us to explore and advance our thinking on navigating the complexities of our world and the transformation of the educator's role in shaping the future.

In 2023 we celebrated our 50^th anniversary. This year we look to the next 50 years with the theme Reimagining Education: A future beyond boundaries. Importantly, with a focus on learner and educator agency, this allows us to explore and advance our thinking on navigating the complexities of our world and the transformation of the educator's role in shaping the future.

We will have opportunities to learn from early childhood settings, schools and thought leaders doing amazing things, sometimes in challenging circumstances. As a learner and contributor, be prepared to be inspired through learning from case studies, with a focus on practical strategies and solutions that you can adapt for your setting. The focus on solutions, optimism, and real-world examples will contribute to a positive and empowering conference experience.
