Keynote Session
Day 3 — 10.30
In this session Dr Susan-Marie Harding will share new insights from thousands of principals and leaders, and tens of thousands of teachers across Australia, who contribute their voices through the National Teacher Survey.
Learning from data and insights, we can work toward building a more positive future for Australia's most important workforce. Mapping the future starts with understanding the past and present. Which challenges really are facing the workforce right now? Does the data align with common rhetoric? Are new initiatives going to bring about positive change?
This session will cover insights on the size and nature of Australia's teachers and leaders, their career progression, attrition intentions, working hours, contract types, and wellbeing. Focusing on wellbeing data reveals how the main causes of stress differ between leaders and teachers, alongside the job demands and job resources facing the profession.
The insights shared will provoke deeper thinking about how we can better support the professional wellbeing of Australia's leaders and teachers.
An engaging three-day event you won't want to miss.
