Student Voice is increasingly recognised as a vital component of school improvement. What exactly is Student Voice and how will focusing on this as a key school priority improve student wellbeing and learning outcomes? This three-part webinar series invites you to learn from international thought leader Dr. Russ Quaglia about student voice and aspirations. Dr. Quaglia and his team will offer a wide variety of resources to support schools in taking action to amplify voice for ALL students.
Session 1 (17 October 2023, 8.00am-9.00am AEDT): The Power of Student Voice – Participants will learn an operational definition of student voice that inspires action and shared responsibility between all members of the school community.
Session 2 (24 October 2023, 8.00am-9.00am AEDT): The Voice Process – Student voice can only become operational in schools when we understand the process of listening to, learning from, and leading with one another to maximize learning and engagement.
Session 3 (31 October 2023, 8.00am-9.00am AEDT): The Aspirations Profile – Once student voice is recognized and established we need to understand the Aspirations Profile as a model for supporting students in balancing dreaming and doing so they can reach their fullest potential.

Student voice should and can become a way of being across schools, so all voices contribute to wellbeing and achieving established learning outcomes. In this webinar series participants will learn how to unleash the potential of student voice so that students and teachers work in partnership with one another to embrace shared responsibility for the health of the school community. Participants should be prepared to be challenged, inspired, and invigorated to embrace the power of student voice.
