Using evidence to inform education improvement is not enough. We need to be using evidence well.

However, what does it mean to use evidence well? What does it look like in practice? In addition, how can we enable and support it? Drawing on the work of the Monash Q Project, this session will introduce the Quality Use of Research Evidence Framework, and share insights from nearly 500 educators on Using Research Well in Australian Schools. A key aim of the session will be to stimulate reflection about our current evidence use practices and future improvement opportunities.

Presenters: Project Director, Associate Professor Mark Rickinson, and Senior Research Fellow Dr. Jo Gleeson
