ACEL International Women's Day 2023 (Online)

Celebrating Women in Educational Leadership

Come and join all of our ACEL community throughout Australia in a celebration of embracing equity.  #EmbraceEquity

Disrupt the status quo - Women leaders in education: embracing equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging

WomenEd is a global community exploring ways in which the status quo can hold women back in education: the subtle and downright overt biases and practices which maintain gender and racial gaps and discrimination. The rate of change is glacial so it’s time to act. We’ll look at representation of women, especially underrepresented women, as leaders, the gender pay gap, the struggle to balance home and work and all the factors which we want to disrupt.
