Educational Leaders discuss National Curriculum Review WA

The Australian Council for Educational Leaders- Western Australian Branch will discuss and debate the Commonwealth Review of the National Curriculum at 5.50 pm on November 6 at mercedes College, Perth.

Panel members include Allan Blagaich, CEO School Curriculum & Standards Authority, Edd Black, Principal, Huntingdale PS, Graeme Locke, Associate Professor, School of Education, ECU, Warren Daniel, Vice president, WACSSO & David Wood, Innovation Officer, CEOWA.

Educational experts will gather for a question and answer forum to discuss the review recommendations and their implication for education in Australia.

“The Review is an important document for educators and highlights the direction of Commonwealth policy in Education.

It is important that all educators are aware of the content of the report and the implications of the review recommendations,” said Peter Hayes, Director of Education, ACEL National Office.

The review, conducted by Professor Ken Wiltshire and Dr Kevin Donnelly was released in October 2014.
