PAM BETTS

Pam Betts is the Executive Director of Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of Brisbane, a role she has held since 2013. During her career Pam has taught in Brisbane Catholic Education secondary colleges and has held senior positions with Brisbane Catholic Education, the Queensland Catholic Education Commission, the St Francis Xavier Province of the Christian Brothers and Edmund Rice Education Australia.

Pam has served as a chair and member of a number of educational committees and boards including the ACU La Salle Academy for Faith Formation and Religious Education, the PM Glynn Institute Advisory Board and St Leo’s College Council and Planning Committee. She is a current director of Catholic Network Australia.

With Masters from Australian Catholic University in both Educational Leadership and Religious Education Pam also holds a Master of Theology and a Bachelor of Science. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders, and the Australian Council for Educational Leaders.

Pam’s experience and deep commitment to education have been acknowledged by the Australian Council of Educational Leaders (ACEL) with a National Fellowship award and the Queensland branch of ACEL with a Queensland Fellowship award.
