Every leader brings unique value - but are you clear on what yours is, and are others? This session focuses on recognising, articulating, and demonstrating your value as a leader. Participants examine how their work contributes to the bigger picture, and how to communicate that value with clarity and confidence. Leaders will reflect on their strengths, impact, and evidence of contribution - not for self-promotion, but to build credibility and inspire trust. Learn how to ensure your value is visible, relevant, and aligned with the strategic needs of your organisation.
Janine Stratford is the Founder of Coaching Focus and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation. A former Deputy Principal with almost 30 years' experience in education, Janine has spent the past decade partnering with schools across Australia and New Zealand to develop principals, executive teams, middle leaders and aspiring leaders through leadership development, coaching and strategic facilitation.
Recognised as one of The Educator's Most Influential Educators in 2024, Janine's work is grounded in practitioner inquiry. She has a deep interest in how leadership identity, agency and belief systems influence the way leaders navigate complexity, make decisions and develop others.
Janine is the author of Leading for Tomorrow, Today: School Leadership with Purpose, Alignment and Lasting Impact.
