Corwin and ACEL announce new partnership to deliver Visible Learning^plus symposiums

Melbourne (4 June 2015) – A new partnership announced today between two leading professional learning organisations will give Australian educators the opportunity to learn more about the Visible Learning research, which is the world’s largest evidence base on what works in K-12 education to raise student achievement, developed by Professor John Hattie of the University of Melbourne.

Corwin, the exclusive provider of the Visible Learning^plus model of professional learning in Australia, and ACEL (Australian Council for Educational Leaders), the country’s most significant provider of professional learning in the education sector, have agreed to co-host Visible Learning^plus symposiums across Australia in 2015 and 2016. The 2015 Visible Learning^plus Symposiums will be held on the 6th of August in Sydney, the 7th of August in Brisbane, the 1st of December in Sydney, and the 2nd of December in Rockhampton.

As part of the partnership, Corwin will also come on board as a key sponsor of the 2015 ACEL Annual Conference to be held in Sydney later this year.

Participants will leave with a deep understanding of which practices have the most impact on student learning and a toolbox of effective learning strategies that can be implemented in their schools and classrooms.
