Bio
Dr Adam James completed his PhD in synthetic organometallic chemistry at the University of Tasmania in 2011 and his Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching with the University of Southern Queensland in 2012. He has been employed as a full time teacher at The Hutchins School in Hobart, Tasmania, since 2013, where he teaches senior Chemistry, Physical Sciences and various upper secondary maths and science courses. In 2014, Adam flipped his senior chemistry class, producing five and a half hours of concise, edited video content covering the majority of the theoretical content in the course. This provided significantly more class time for experiments, field trips and to support individual learning. 2015 has seen Adam adding to and improving his catalogue of chemistry videos, and implementing OneNote Class Notebooks and Socrative quizzes across all of his classes, as well as preparing some video resources for staff.
