CALL FOR PAPERS
The Australian Council for Educational Leaders invites interested
individuals, pairs, or small groups, to submit an application to present
a session at the ACEL 2019 Early Childhood Conference.
All sessions will:
- Engage with the key themes of Inclusion, Leadership and Engagement
- Address leadership themes from the Australian Professional Standards for Principals
- Demonstrate developments and/or innovations in the field of Leadership in Education
- Be highly engaging
Delegates have an opportunity to present at this conference in the following ways:
Presentation with clear processes to engage the audience:
- Present an engaging presentation using AV etc.
- 40 minutes presentation + 10 minutes Q&A.
- Can be presented by individuals, pairs or trios.
- Participants are seated theatre style.
Workshop with clear processes to engage the audience:
- 40 minutes presentation + 10 minutes Q&A.
- Can include activities and audience participation as well as using AV.
- Can be presented by individuals, pairs or trios.
- Participants are seated theatre style.
Show Case with clear processes to engage the audience:
- This session will be short, pithy and powerful! Get one big concept across in under 10 - very strict time allocation and there will be no overruns. A bell will be used to signal the end of the showcase.
- 10 minute presentation in the plenary room
- Can be presented by individuals or pairs.
- Opportunities to share developments and resources.
