AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE AUSTRALIAN
COUNCIL FOR EDUCATIONAL LEADERS

Due to the impact and uncertainty that remains in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) has made the decision to modify its National Conference model for 2020, transitioning to an online format.

Our annual flagship conference is an important event in the calendar for educational leaders across Australia and New Zealand. In light of the of restrictions in place in holding large-scale events and associated travel issues for both our delegates and international speakers, ACEL have made the decision to restructure the delivery of this year’s National Conference. This, now online event will feature a line-up of local and global leaders sharing their perspectives and ideas around delivering outcomes in a changing landscape. We encourage you to stay tuned for further announcements on this specially modified conference over the coming weeks.

The health and safety of our delegates, partners and staff is our number one priority and we believe this to be in the best interest of all. We look forward to presenting a highly engaging ‘in person’ conference in 2021, in line with ACEL’s reputation in delivering high quality professional learning events and conferences. Our 2021 National Conference will take place from the 30th of September to the 2nd of October 2021. This conference will still be held in Melbourne at the same venue – The Pullman Albert Park.

Thank you, and as always, our sincere best wishes for the health and well-being of you, your friends and family during these difficult times.
