2020 TAS Annual Branch Awards Ceremony

21/09/2020

The 2020 Tasmanian ACEL Awards were a great success. It was our largest presentation evening in many years with representatives from the University of Tasmania, Department of Education, Catholic Education and Independent Education. We were delighted that the Governor of Tasmania ,Her Excellency, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner was able to join us for the evening. Her presence emphasised her commitment to education and educators.

The Awardees also spanned all sectors and came from across the state. The Award winners all share a commitment and dedication for education whether it has been for children and young people in challenging situations, wellbeing, ICT and STEM, innovative programs or ensuring all learning is of this highest possible quality. When reading citations for the deserving awardees it is evident that the children and young people in all areas of Tasmanian are fortunate to have dedicated educators supporting them.
