Challenging Learning

WORKSHOP FOCUS
Following the successful publication of Challenging Learning through Feedback and Challenging Learning through Dialogue this inspirational one day workshop seeks to challenge the way learning takes place through challenge, progress, feedback and dialogue.

  • Discover how students can learn more when they are wobbling and how you can make this happen
  • Delve into the ‘Learning Challenge’ which incorporates being in the pit of learning and how to help your students achieve that ‘Eureka’ moment
  • How and when we should encourage more (and when we shouldn’t!)
  • Aid students in embracing their mistakes and to get out of their comfort zone
  • How feedback can be used more effectively in the classroom and how to avoid negative factors
  • Discover how you can teach students to give effective feedback
  • How we can support dialogue in the classroom to engage learning
