The WA branch of The Australian Council for Educational Leadership is excited to invite you to attend the WA Early Childhood Symposium : Leading with Impact in the Early Years. The Symposium will be held face to face in Perth on Saturday 29th May 2021. The Early Childhood Symposium is an opportunity to highlight the important work being undertaken in WA by its leaders and experts who are driving impactful practices in the Early Years.

Join us as we unpack the complexities of providing our youngest students with excellence in Early Years education with a focus on how educators, leaders and systems can strategically lead improvement. Let’s dive deep into the conversation of finding balance; Play/Explicit/Direct Instruction, Child led/ teacher led, structured play/unstructured play what should Early Childhood Education actually look like if it is ground in research and developmentally appropriate to this important phase of learning. Presenters from different sectors will cover a range of topics to help educators understand how high quality, impactful learning and leadership can improve outcomes for our students.
