Teagan Armstrong knows that quality teachers build quality education. Teagan is a passionate, experienced Educational Leader with a demonstrated history working in the Early Childhood profession. Teagan is skilled in Early Childhood Compliance, Child Development, Operational Management, Leadership, Research, and Educational Leadership. Teagan began her career in early education in 2013 at the young age of 17. Since, she has managed three long day-care early childhood services and guided seven services as the Head of Education and Pedagogy, as a principal educational leader. Teagan is currently an Academic Lecturer of the Bachelor of early childhood education and care (birth 5) degree with TAFE NSW, where she has the opportunity to support future early childhood teachers.

Shortly after receiving her Masters Degree in Education, specialising in Educational Leadership with Southern Cross University, Teagan commenced a Master of Education by Research where she is now conducting a large scale research project into the role of educational leader in the early childhood setting across Australia.

Teagan strongly believes that the role of the educational leader has a significant impact on the quality of early childhood education and care, and therefore increased attention is needed into this role in the early education profession.
