An Important Message from The Australian Council for Educational Leaders

We wanted to provide you an update you on the Disability & Inclusion Conference. As the situation has evolved further since our last communication, we have made the decision to move the dates for this event to the 15th and 16th of March 2021. We believe that the new dates will enable us to host the event at a time when participants and speakers can attend the event ‘in person’ and engage in active learning and networking with peers and colleagues from around the country.

Any currents registrants have had their registration automatically transferred to the new dates with individual communication on the date change.

Please contact us on [email protected] should you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you

The 2020 Disability & Inclusion Conference is proudly presented by The Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) in partnership with the Department of Education, Queensland.

Featuring experts and leading practitioners in the field of disability and inclusion, the Conference will focus on the ways in which educators can ensure that all students access and engage in learning.

Presentations will  explore how system leaders, school leaders and teachers can work together to ensure schools are inclusive environments; how students with disability can contribute to their own learning; and how schools can work effectively with parents, families and the wider community to ensure they are involved in their child’s education.

The Disability & Inclusion Conference offers educational leaders the opportunity to engage with experts and peers and continue the conversation around disability and inclusion so that every student can achieve success  at school.

National Disability & Inclusion Conference will contribute 9 hours and 45 minutes of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
