Leading and Managing (L&M) is a fully refereed academic journal published by ACEL. Produced twice a year.
L&M aims to maintain a balance of practice and theory directed towards the complementary phases of L&M in educational administration. L&M is targeted at personnel working at all organisational levels and in all sectors and systems, principally, but not exclusively, in the sphere of education, with education understood in its widest sense.
L&M aims to:
- Advance understanding of what it means to lead and manage, the experiences of organisational personnel while engaged in L&M and the experiences and reflections of those who find themselves being led and managed; and
- Improve the practice of L&M through empirical research and theoretical analysis.
The journal is provided through digital format and in print as part of the benefits available to all members of ACEL.
