Leading and Managing

Leading and Managing is a fully refereed academic journal published by ACEL. Produced twice a year.
Leading and Managing aims to maintain a balance of practice and theory directed towards the complementary phases of leading and managing in educational administration. Leading and Managing is targeted at personnel working at all organisational levels and in all sectors and systems, principally, but not exclusively, in the sphere of education, with education understood in its widest sense.
Leading and Managing aims to:

  • Advance understanding of what it means to lead and manage, the experiences of organisational personnel while engaged in leading and managing and the experiences and reflections of those who find themselves being led and managed; and
  • Improve the practice of leading and managing through empirical research and theoretical analysis.
