Weather

Melbourne does have a reputation for variable weather and there can be a 20 degrees difference in just one day. It is not uncommon to have four seasons in one day! The best advice is to consider ‘layering’ when visiting Melbourne – choose clothing to suit the range of average temperatures below, but allow for the odd day beyond these averages. Average spring temperatures range from 9 - 20 C.

Transport

Melbourne’s trams are legendary! Enjoy a free tram experience, and see the city sights on the ‘City Circle’ trams that run in and around the city. Jump off and on at places of interest. Both Flinders Street train station and Southern Cross train station are within walking distance of the conference venue, with tram stops on Spencer and Clarendon streets that are close to the Conference Venue.
