To assist the NSW Branch of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders to honour those who deserve recognition for a truly outstanding contribution to education or educational leadership, we urge you to nominate them today!

Financial Management For Schools

In an era of increasing financial accountability and autonomy for schools, school leaders are being required to take on additional responsibilities for financial management. To do this, they need to understand the terminology of finance and must have knowledge in financial management functions such as budgeting, planning, monitoring operating expenses, reviewing financial performance, and reporting.

ACEL, in conjunction with UTS, is offering tailor-made ‘Financial Management for Schools’ workshops across the country throughout May 2013. QLD Breakfast with the Minister

ACEL QLD and ACE QLD invite members and colleagues to join us on Wednesday 5th June (from 7.15am at Clairvaux MacKillop College) for a morning of discussion over breakfast. This event will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from the Honourable John-Paul Langbroek MP, Minister for Education, Training and Employment and engage in a Q&A session following his address.
