In an era of increasing financial accountability and autonomy for schools, school leaders are being required to take on additional responsibilities for financial management. To do this, they need to understand the terminology of finance and must have knowledge in financial management functions such as budgeting, planning, monitoring operating expenses, reviewing financial performance, and reporting.
ACEL, in conjunction with UTS, is offering tailor-made ‘Financial Management for Schools’ workshops across the country throughout May 2013.
