He will speak candidly recognizing the positive impact student voice is having, and also address the obstacles and myths that are holding student voice back. Dr. Quaglia will share data he has collected from hundreds of thousands of students and the implications that data has regarding the role of educators and policy makers, how schools are organized, and how we assess the teaching and learning environment. Dr. Quaglia will offer suggestions and action steps to ensure student voice is listened to, learned from, and acted upon for the good of the entire school. His fundamental belief is that we can and must learn from students if we are to ensure all students are reaching their fullest academic, personal and social potential.
