QLD In Dialogue: Feedback for Self-Regulation

QLD In Dialogue: Feedback for Self-Regulation

Presenters: Dr Cam Brooks, Rochelle Burton, Luke Mandouit

The Australian Council for Educational Leaders’ (ACELQ ) partnership with the Science of Learning Research Centre (SLRC) at the University of Queensland brings together educators and researchers. Our common aim is to explore evidence-based research and the implications of these for teaching, leading and learning. Following on from our first two engaging and thought-provoking seminars, we are pleased to announce the third in a series of ‘In dialogue’ sessions.

This interactive seminar will explore the latest research around what effective feedback involves and how it can be utilised to promote self-regulation in learners. Participants will discuss the conditions that underpin effective feedback, gain insights into learner perspectives of feedback, and identify some strategies to promote effective feedback in schools. This seminar provides participants with a wonderful opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and build ongoing professional networks.
