ACEL Early Childhood Conference are proud to welcome celebrated Australian Children's Author Leigh Hobbs to this year's event "From Child to Citizen"

EARLY CHILDHOOD CONFERENCE 2018: Proudly Present Leigh Hobbs

Leigh Hobbs is the best-selling author of more than 20 books, including the iconic Old Tom, Mr Chicken goes to Paris and Horrible Harriet. As an artist, he works across a range of mediums, as well as writing and illustrating his children's books.

Mr Chicken goes to Paris was shortlisted for the 2010 Prime Minster's Literacy awards and has been a constant best seller art the Louvre Museum Bookshop in Paris. Old Tom has been adapted into an extremely popular TV Series and Horrible Harriet premiered on the Sydney Opera House stage in 2016.

Leigh Hobbs will open Day 2 of 3rd Annual Early Childhood Conference discussing his history, his work and engagement in the world of children's literature. Leigh will also take time for an exclusive book signing at the event. ACEL extends our warm welcome and look forward to this celebrated author joining us as part of this important annual event.
