Bio
Emma Goodall completed her PhD looking at the contextual factors involved in teaching students on the autism spectrum in 2013. In 2015 she joined the Department for Education and Child Development (DECO) as their Senior Adviser - Autism.

Emma is on the executive committee of the Australian Society for Autism Research and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network - Australia, New Zealand and Oceania. AN experienced teacher and educational consultant, Emma uses her current research to evaluate policy options and is developing evidence based professional development to lead program change for effective educational experiences for students on the autism spectrum. She combines her passion for facilitating success for educators and students with translational research to look at how to most effectively support educators to support students on the autism spectrum.

Emma is also a published author of three autism related books. She lives in Adelaide with her partner, step son and dog..
