Peggy is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ACEL's national office, supporting the CEO and Board.  Part of her role is also to nurture ACEL's relationships with various stakeholders, including state/territory branches, and national and international presenters and partners.

An accomplished professional with over 25 years’ experience in business events, Peggy focuses on the delivery of ACEL's services through events and membership engagement while ensuring cross-collaboration across all aspects of the organisation.

Elaine is responsible for the management and coordination for all of ACEL’s national conferences and workshops.

Some of Elaine’s responsibilities include the delivery of both physical and online events, event registrations, customer service and logistical management for presenters, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers. Elaine also works closely with ACEL’s state and territory branch executives, providing support and guidance for the respective state awards and local events.

Sharissa provides customer service and administration support to the events and membership team.  This includes handling of general queries via emails and phone calls, as well as providing assistance in delivering ACEL’s online webinars, workshops and conferences.

Having completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business (Event Management), Sharissa brings her experience in event operations and customer service to support ACEL’s members and customers.

Membership and Finance Officer

As the point of contact for all of ACEL’s member services and queries, Theresa provides efficient daily communication and support to our valued members and customers. With a proven background in sales and customer service from the hospitality and tourism sector, she is responsible for membership renewals, maintaining the membership database and providing accurate membership reports to support the broader ACEL team.

Programs and Administration Officer

Esther coordinates the delivery of ACEL’s programs and provides administrative support to the CEO and Leadership Team.  This includes program promotion, registration, correspondence, liaison with facilitators and project managers.  Additionally she also coordinates the call for papers for ACEL’s conferences, as well as manage ACEL’s online bookshop.

Esther has had extensive experience in customer service and administration support with the most recent as Executive Assistant for the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in Bangkok.  Previous to that, Esther spent 5 years working at the University of Sydney supporting their Student Services team.

Jane is responsible for all aspects of financial management of ACEL. She works in conjunction with Branches, members, the Board and the office team to ensure the company is running efficiently and effectively from a financial perspective. Prior to her role with ACEL Jane was an administration officer, office manager and accounts payable clerk for various companies. She gained an incredible amount of knowledge and skills from more than a decade of experience in office administration and applies this daily to her role as the ACEL Finance Officer.

Nals is in charge of maintaining all aspects of the visual identity, style guides and marketing of ACEL. He started out as a freelance designer while studying a Diploma in Digital Media and a Bachelor in Visual Communications in Sydney. Here at ACEL, his leadership role involves creating the communications and marketing plan for ACEL and ensuring that all front-facing design is in line with ACEL's standards.

As the Design and Communications Officer at ACEL, Jonathan collaborates with the design lead to enhance and uphold the organisation’s visual identity, marketing strategies, and social media presence. After earning his Bachelors in Media Arts (Digital Media/Communications), Jonathan gained experience as a freelance designer and photographer. In his role, Jonathan executes proposed communications and marketing plans, ensuring ACEL's design standards are consistently elevated and aligned with organisational goals.
