“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes”

~ Marcel Proust

The world as we know it has changed in a matter of a few weeks! The COVID-19 crisis has given cause for searing disquiet by the suddenness of its advent, the rapidity of its proliferation, the magnitude of its impact and the uncertainty of its tenure. Our world requires us to reimagine our activities at work and in our personal lives, holding firm to the anchors that define us but staying agile and responsive in the face of adversity and seismic shifts in the environment.

This is the first of two special editions of AEL that feature a series of perspective pieces from leaders, practitioners and researchers on their experiences during this COVID-19 pandemic. Their contributions are unique as they all have diverse prisms from which they view the world. You will find insights that resonate with you and others that might provoke more questions, regardless they make for very interesting reading…
