2020 NEW VOICE SCHOLARSHIPS SUBMISSIONS NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN
The Australian Council for Educational Leaders are once again proud to officially open the call for submissions for the 2020 New Voice Scholarships. The New Voice Scholarships are part of ACEL’s 10 year and $300,000 commitment to recognise the emerging voices in educational leadership. Scholarships will be awarded across four key leadership categories: 1] School Leadership 2] Educational Leadership Research 3] New Voice in Indigenous Leadership 4] Early Education and Care. Submissions are now open and will close June 5th 2020. Recipients will be formally recognised as part of the ACEL National Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner held as part of ACEL National Conference commencing September 30th.

ACEL 2019 Gold Medal Award Winner Officially Announced to deliver William Walker Address at National Conference 2020 : “Equity and Excellence”
ACEL officially announce that 2019 Gold Medal recipient Margot Foster, Director Professional Practice SA Department of Education will deliver this year’s William Walker address – the closing keynote speech at the 2020 ACEL National Conference in Melbourne. The theme of this year’s William Walker Address will be "Unlearning – the pathway to equity and excellence for all". Margot Foster joins the esteemed list of previous William Walker presenters over the past few years such as Prof David Hopkins, Prof John Hattie and last year’s Gold Medal recipient Prof Martin Westwell. Single, group and platinum registrations for the premier conference for educational leadership in Australian and New Zealand conference are now open.

SAVE THE DATE: Early Childhood National Conference Officially Announced for August 31st in Melbourne
ACEL officially announce that the 2020 Early Childhood National Conference will be held in Melbourne over two days – Aug 31 & Sept 1st. This year’s event will focus on the theme “Leading Change to Support Child Outcomes” and will once again bring together leaders and educators in early childhood from every state and territory in Australia to engage, network and collaborate. Hosted once again by Tim Maddren. Registrations have now opened.

The Australian Council for Educational Leaders have released their 2020 calendar of educational leadership workshops, programs and conferences. With accredited professional development events showcasing the best in international and local thought leaders and experts.
