Bio
Aaron Mackinnon has spent numerous years working within student management as a coordinator, Year Level Team Leader and now as Head of Senior School. He has a Visual Arts teaching background and held the role of Head of Arts Faculty for a number of years prior to working within student management. Aaron brings a creative, innovative and holistic approach to educational leadership.
A focus of Aaron’s recent work has been on the development of student leadership programs within his school. His initiatives have encompassed a range of strategies aimed at maximizing the opportunities for, and development of, students involved in student leadership. By providing students with a voice within the school setting and linking them with various political, educational, industry and community groups, a culture of progressive, relevant and responsive education is continuing to be developed.
