Bio
Dr. Venesser Fernandes is a Lecturer – Educational Leadership Studies in the Faculty of Education, Monash University, Australia. She currently teaches courses in the Masters of Leadership Studies programs offered at Monash University. Her areas of teaching and research interest include: Leadership and Organisational Development Studies; Change Management Systems; Globalisation and Social Justice in Education and, Educational Policy Analysis and Development. Venesser is involved in the Principal Preparation Program that runs in partnership with Monash University, the DE&T, Victoria and Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership which focuses on the leadership development of aspiring principals within state schools around Victoria. Venesser also works as a School Reviewer for the DE&T schools in Victoria. In her role as a Professional Experience Educator, Venesser works with aspiring teachers at the undergraduate level in developing their core understanding around teaching and learning and in engaging them productively through their professional experience practicums within schools.
