A sensei-tional learning journey is what Shungo Sawaki offers his students. In his class, 1+1= whatever they want it to be-it is their world to explore.
Sawaki Sensei is passionate about developing a culture of exploration. He cultivates a learning community where generosity and appreciation are central to be relationships developed and he inspires collective responsibility to agreed outcomes.
Shungo has a good mind and compassionate approach to others. He always looks for opportunities to develop ideas that can be incorporated into improved learning outcomes. He enthuses about his central philosophy of teaching and has inspired others to adopt the principles he espouses.
Shungo is Director of Curriculum at the MacRobertson Girls' High School. He has also held the posotions of Head of Languages, ICT co-corinator for the J.L.T.A.V., and Japanese S/L Liaision Leader for VCAA and was a member of the Lea@rning Federation for the DEECD. Shungo has been hounoured with awards including Teacher of the Year, LOTE HAT and LOTE NALSAP ICT.
