Bio
Samantha Donovan is an educational leader who has worked in a diverse range of settings in QLD. She is currently Deputy Principal at Helensvale State School on the Gold Coast which has a current enrolment P-6 of 1040 students. From 2006 - 2009 she was the Regional Manager of Learning, leading the implementation of systemic and regional curriculum and professional development priorities for all schools in South East Region. Originally graduating as a Secondary teacher, Samantha brings a knowledge of both primary, secondary and regional settings to all leadership roles she undertakes. Samantha is committed to ensuring that every child will learn through access to the highest quality education in professional learning communities. She believes in the power of collaboration where school communities stand shoulder to shoulder to empower each other to inspire greatness in every child.
