Bio
Rebecca Vivian is a Research Associate with the Computer Science Education Research (CSER) Group at the University of Adelaide. Rebecca's research interests are the application of theory and established pedagogy to expand our understanding of learning and teaching within Computer Science, including the use of technology in education, such as social media and learning analytics.
Rebecca leads the K-12 Computer Science education stream in the CSER Group, which seeks to discover new pedagogies of learning and teaching in K-12 Computer Science and Computational Thinking. In addition, Rebecca leads the CSER Digital Technologies professional development MOOCs to support Australian teachers with new computing curriculum implementation, as well as the underpinning research that seeks to understand effective MOOC pedagogy and scalable models of professional development.
