Bio
Merryn was appointed principal at Curtin Primary School at the end of 2014. She has been a member of the Curtin community since 2011, when she joined the school as deputy principal. Merryn began her teaching career in 2002 and has taught in a variety of primary and middle school settings in NSW and the ACT. She has also worked within the directorate to support schools implementing ACT and Australian curriculum as well the Quality Teaching model. In 2010, Merryn completed a Master of Educational Studies (Pedagogy) with distinction.

As principal, Merryn is committed to leading a quest for excellence in her school. This means each individual applies their innate curiosity to learn about their world and how to interact within it as a successful citizen. Merryn is inspired to create a culture of possibility to ensure the school is a community that creates the best learning for each student, staff member the community.
