Bio
My current position is Deputy Principal in the Pilbara at Karratha Primary School, Western Australia. I studied at Edith Cowan University and my career began at Wickham Primary School as a pre primary teacher. After four years in this role, I transferred to my current school. It is here I have had many opportunities to develop my teaching and leadership skills through a variety of roles. I experienced teaching different year grades and became the school's English leader. In 2012, Karratha Primary School was selected to participated in the nationally funded Literacy and Numeracy Partnership Project. I was selected to be the school's Literacy Specialist. This role then led to my current position. In 2013, I received a scholarship to complete a Master of School Leadership at the University of Western Australia. I am nearly half way through this course and thoroughly enjoying each unit.
